BESTBoard of European Students of Technology is a student organization which gathers European students of technology and science. Today BEST has 74 groups that are operating in almost all the countries in Europe. During over a decade from its foundation, BEST has developed from small students union into a big organization which cooperates with prominent international companies. The main goal of BEST is to promote Europe among Europeans and thus it offers a wide variety of programmes based on cultural and professional exchange. Local BEST Group (LBG) in Novi Sad is founded on September 19th, 2005 and it has become a member of BEST in General Assembly in April 2006.  
   
 
General academic info about course

Dear visitor, welcome to the future! The year is 2389 and by now artificial intelligence is implemented in every pore of our society. So, would you like to travel back in time and find out how it all began?

Place: Novi Sad;
Reason: The most advanced course in AI of that time;

Description of the course: The course is divided into 6 chapters. In the first chapter the basics of AI will be explained. The second chapter is Sociological aspects of AI. After that, there will be some words about intelligent robots and the way AI is implemented in robotics. It will be followed by lecture about AI which is used in games, heuristics and search algorithms. Then you will hear something interesting about "Intelligent Databases". And last but not the least, there will be some general ideas and examples how we could use AI in modern telecommunications. General idea of the course is to show that AI has wide area of implementation in informatics, and to show the importance of AI.

Notice that all courses will be held by very known and respectable authors.However, beware of the terminator because he also came to defend the future ;-)

Parties, sightseeing and other social activities of that time will be thoroughly explained through practice and repetition. After all, "repetition est mater studiorum" ;-)
